Multi-pack items / 2pk, 3pk, value pk

Good morning, guys~

This morning, I will talk about multi pack items for essentials.

Many retailers are offering a multi-buy opportunities to customers.
Multi pack is various from underwear, pyjama set, socks and to basic or fashion T shirts.

Sometimes, you can feel that items are really boring with solid colorway or simple design.
But as a busy mom, it’s a good stuff to save the money & time without spending selection pending time.

As a designer in my working area, we are getting projection requests like design updates or style suggestions for the basic items.
It’s really difficult case because unit cost already fixed…
Only by adding stitches or changing small details, we must give a difference to the customer…

According to buyer, they can call Multi-pack as various expression..

l KVI (=Key value items)
Probably,,, to the big retailer, it can gives some amount value better than un-forecastable fashion items.
From our point of view, as a vendor, it’s helpful items to run production line efficiently, in factory.

l AIS (= Always in stocks)
Based on my work-expierence, White basic T or underwear items are for AIS.
That means many customer are intend to buy it anytime, so… retailers are need to keep it in stock to sell it whenever customers want to buy it.

Personally, I am buying basic simple color T with reasonable price in ZARA.
Because it’s simple clean look is similar with other fashion tops, in thesedays.
